Dubbed the, "Vanderbilt Bag", after the Vanderbilts of American railway fame, The Vanderbilt bag began its history serving in India as a British army officers bag. Our hand sewn variation takes the Vanderbilt up to "First Cabin", in eye grabbing textured French calf leathers of fine hand and luxurious fragrance. A separate calf liner accommodates customizing pockets and pouches TO YOUR SPECIFICATIONS.

Features include body construction from a single piece of leather with fully piped seams providing the cleanest design possible and no exposed stitches. Solid bottom, leather corner protectors, brass feet, in-the-round handles, layered shoulder strap. Keyed brass lock. Standard sizes are 16"x12 3/4" and 18"x9"x12 3/4".

A hand sewn soft sided carry on bag in HAND CURRIED leather, the original method of adding, 'hand', patina and fragrance to leather. Havana colors of light or dark brown, combined as shown or single color. A Stout bag yet surprisingly light in weight with a lining in luxurious Scottish garment lamb, cream color for high visibility. All strap work in bridle leather. Can be accessorized with CUSTOM MADE REMOVABLE pouches. Pouches can be sized to accommodate anything from your finest fly fishing lingerie, business folders, cell phones, to...etc.

EARLY 1900 STYLE WAXED CANVAS BAGS AND PACKS

22 oz. waxed canvas, rugged, weatherproof, in travel carry on's and field and stream packs. Waxed canvas, a durable and waterproof mainstay from the past made environmentally for today. Never washed or brushed, waxed canvas requires only a hosing down when dirty and if necessary, a retreatment with wax from the tin of wax included with your canvas bag. Watching it age gracefully from there is the only other requirement.

We offer carry on bags from 16 inches long to 22 inches long, the maximum length allowed. Bridle leather trims the bag, which is sewn fully piped. Removable panels, pockets and pouches are available. From $375.00

A minimalist field and stream pack in waterproof, 22 oz. waxed canvas. comprised of a single chest pouch connected to a flat style backpack with stout, adjustable cotton webbing that helps keep canvas off the body. No buckles. The chest pouch is purposely shed of nonsense pocketry. Dividers in the chest pouch provide room for 2 or 3 fly boxes, leader and, tippet material, tools, small water bottle, etc. For the field the front pouch is large enough to hold two boxes of shells, a small water bottle, tools, etc.. One small pocket holds either floatant or oil.

The easy access pack will carry in comfort a 4 season storm jacket, hoodie, hydration system, a travel fly tying kit or bowl for the dogs, cleaning kit and lunch. The system secures front pouch to rear pack with side straps for snugging down to insure unimpeded bushwhacking and free swing of the rod or gun. The pack comes with wax restoration package, including instructions. All stress points are heavily reinforced. Floatation device fits over the pack like a glove.
