Constructed as a case within a case, providing a hard bodied, stout legomutton for fine takedown's. The clean lines of the outer case are created from the worlds finest English bridle leather. Hand curried in Britain as it was 100 years ago our case leather offers a fragrance, hand and stout quality reminiscent of another era. Colors of light or dark Havana add Edwardian elegance to our weatherproof, low maintenance legomutton case. The inner case, not a mere lining but a separate whole case, is constructed from veg tan natural bridle providing a smooth hide side leather facing for the gun. Both pieces are then permanently joined.

Constructed to long forgotten standards our legomutton is entirely hand sewn enabling a unique, rounded shape over the seam. Exceptional reinforcement is added to all stress points including solid brass rivets supporting the brass D ring holders. Raw edges are bound with hidden stitches. Those points and straps given to wear are designed for easy replacement and are reinforced to an extreme. Handle and shoulder strap included. No shortcuts are taken with either the quality of leather or the construction technique. The design is totally unique and a class apart. References available.

Available in Dark Havana, Light Havana or combined. Available for single barrel, two barrels -as seen in photo, upper right-, twin barrels with forend pocket or matched pair. Side by side and over and under.

Cartridge Bag

100 size Cartridge Bag, in hand curried, weatherproof bridle leather. Entirely hand sewn with over 2500 stitches, featuring a piped front and, leather bound raw edges. The cartridge bag flap hugs over rolled and pinned shoulders for a snug seal against weather and cartridge loss. Back and flap are supported by a leather covered brass bar to maintain rigidity of the bag over generations of use. The leather bound opening edge is piped then leather bound to prevent inward collapse of the front during reload. The sling, fashioned after a harness makers Atherstone Girth, provides cushioning for maximum comfort over a long day. We offer an optional waist belt on our cartridge bag for a secure carry on outside shoulder. A cartridge bag detailed to the nth degree in the worlds finest hand curried bridle leather. A 3.5mm thick leather cartridge bag designed to be around for your grandchildren. Colors of dark or light Havana or, combinations thereof.
